Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information OMG Voice & Chat ("OMG", "we", "us") collects when you use the app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using OMG you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, call logs or SMS. The country shown on rooms is chosen manually. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs.
2. Device permissions
- Microphone — only to speak in voice rooms and calls.
- Notifications — incoming calls, messages and ongoing room/call status.
- Bluetooth (connect) — route audio to a Bluetooth headset.
- Photos / files — only the image or audio file you pick yourself (system picker); we do not scan your storage.
- Foreground service, run at startup, full-screen notifications — keep the connection alive so incoming calls can ring while the app is closed.
3. What other users can see
Your display name, photos, bio, gender, age, OMG ID, level, cosmetic items, followers/following counts, and anything you post in voice rooms are visible to other users. Your phone number, email address and password are never shown to other users.
4. Sharing with service providers
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with providers that run the service for us:
- Server hosting (VPS) — stores account data, messages and runs the voice server.
- Cloudflare R2 — stores and delivers uploaded images and audio files.
- YouTube (Google) — when someone plays a YouTube video in a room, it is loaded through YouTube's embedded player, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service from fraud or abuse.
5. Security
All connections between the app and our servers, including voice signaling, are encrypted in transit with TLS (HTTPS/WSS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and access to account data requires an authentication token.
6. Retention
- Account, profile, messages and social data are kept while your account exists.
- Voice audio is never stored. Room chat keeps only recent messages.
- Records of purchases, gifts and balance changes may be kept after account deletion for accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations.
- Server logs are rotated and kept for a limited period.
7. Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account at any time:
- In the app: Me → Settings → Account → Delete Account, or
- On the web: Delete your OMG account.
Deletion immediately removes your account, profile, password, direct messages, followers/following, notifications, profile-visit records, inventory and backpack items. The ledger records described in section 6 may be retained.
8. Your rights
You can view and edit your profile in the app, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
9. Children
OMG is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. If we learn that a child has created an account we will delete it. Contact us if you believe a child is using the app.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the date above will change.
